From its early origins, this breathtaking historic 70 acre site site, with magnificent views across the Solent, has been built upon by medieval monks, Tudor farmers and Georgian gentry.

Now its medley of beautiful buildings have been sympathetically restored & stylishly re-decorated to create a unique country house hotel by the sea where you can relax in peace and luxury from the moment you arrive.

As the Priory Bay aims to provide excellent cuisine using local ingredients, many from their own gardens, menus change daily. Winter menus including local game that is prepared by the French Chef.

There is a beach café specialising in seafood open during the summer months. The secluded 70-acre estate, between Bembridge and Seaview, has tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, 9-hole golf course, rolling lawns, mature woodlands and the private beach of Priory Bay.

A warm welcome, log fires and cream teas make this a cosy winter retreat with walks along the beach starting on its doorsteps. The hotel has 9 double rooms, 7 premier rooms and 2 family suites. All rooms have digital TV, radio and a DVD player. An additional 7 family suites just across the sunken courtyard garden where dogs are welcome. Self catering cottages are also available. Children over 5 years welcome.
