Set in 32 acres of splendid countryside, Swainston Manor has a fascinating history going back to AD 735. Swainston Manor is also licensed for civil marriages, and blessings may take place in the beautiful 12th century chapel.

Today this charming country house is a popular retreat for those looking to get away from it all. Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement. Offering spacious grounds with car park and helipad. Inside there is a large central hall and elegant lounge where tea and coffee are served.

There is a comfortable bar lounge and additionally a small indoor heated pool. The restaurant, also open to non-residents, offers a table d'hote menu with a wide choice of dishes including local produce. An a la carte selection is available at a supplement.

All bedrooms are individually furnished and have ensuite bathroom, colour TV, radio, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, telephone and trouser press. Children of all ages welcome. Wedding packages can be arranged to suit your requirements.
