Bedford Lodge is a guest house with all the flexibility of a hotel. Situated in south facing, private gardens, with sloping lawns, flowering folliage and a sun terrace - a truly magical location.

English breakfast is served until 10am with a selection suitable for vegetarians, non-veggies, healthy, and unhealthy guests! Wherever possible the Bedford use local and top quality products.

The licensed bar is open throughout the day and evening, offering a selection of alcoholic, soft and hot drinks which can be served in the sun lounge or outside on the terrace.

All the twelve en-suite bedrooms are located on either the ground floor (some with direct access to the garden), first or second floors, and are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, central heating, colour television and duvets.

The hotel has its own car park and we are able to arrange car ferry crossings from Portsmouth to Fishbourne, Southampton to East Cowes and Lymington to Yarmouth. For rail and foot passengers, Wightlink offer a fast catamaran - 'The Fast Cat' - from Portsmouth Harbour. This connects to the Island Line train, with a direct service to Shanklin.

The hotel is centrally located for restaurants, shops, tea rooms, chip shops, bus services and the beach.
