Resident proprietors Ian and Christina welcome you to the Mayfair, a family run hotel which offers a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere. The Mayfair occupies an unrivalled position with views across Sandown bay to Culver downs and cliffs.

The large sea facing sun terrace and gardens offer the perfect place to sit and enjoy a cool drink on a summer's day whilst watching the many ocean liners pass by. On cooler days, the comfortably furnished lounge bar offers panoramic views from behind the shelter of the picture windows.

The dining room is light, spacious, airy and comfortably seats one hundred people. We know how important it is to have fresh, white, fluffy towels, crisp, clean bedding and a comfortable bed to sleep on.

We have 48 bedrooms, 45 en suite, 3 with private facilities, all with either baths or shower cubicles, and some with showers positioned above the bath. All of our rooms have colour televisions and refreshment making facilites.

We have a variety of entertainers in our lounge bar performing live music on most evenings during the main season. During late October, November and early December we offer traditional "Tinsel & Turkey" breaks. We also celebrate the New Year with guests arriving on the 30th December for 3 night's dinner, bed and breakfast and nightly entertainment.

Children aged 2 to 12 are half of adult rate and aged 13 to 16 are three-quarters of adult rate, per child per night when sharing parent's room. If you wish to stay on a Bed & Breakfast basis, please subtract £5 per person per night from the adult half board rate in the tariff. Child rate as above.

Sea view rooms are available with a supplement of £5 per person per night, subject to availability. Well behaved dogs are welcomed at £3 per day per dog.
