The Miclaran

The Miclaran is situated in a peaceful location with the majority of rooms offering spectacular sea-views of the English Channel. The adjacent cliff-top path leads you down to the sandy Shanklin beaches below.

A short walk away is Shanklin esplanade, with its various eateries, bars and amusements. The nearby Old Village offers chocolate box restaurants, cafes, bars and shops all within walking distance of the guest house, and the local train station is only a five-minute walk away too.

Bedrooms at the Miclaran are maintained to an exceptionally clean, comfortable and pleasant standard, equipped with television, ensuite shower, clock radio and hot beverage making trays.

Overlooking the immaculate garden is the dining room, where freshly cooked breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9 o'clock, and the lounge, which offers a quiet room for guests wishing to read or relax.

Ferry inclusive breaks available on request. Regrettably, pets cannot be accommodated, but guide and support dogs are very welcome. The Miclaran has a no smoking policy.
