Situated within the romantic Undercliff in 16 acres of gardens, woods, streams and waterfalls, extending to a secluded beach, it enjoys an almost sub-tropical climate. The Old Park is firmly established as one of the leading hotels for families, offering every facility for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday in a friendly atmosphere.

Our family friendly hotel has specialised in holidays and short breaks for families with young children and babies for over 40 years. With over 24 family suites, which have a separate children's room, heated indoor swimming pool and children's play areas, we have more facilities for parents with children, than many other family friendly hotels in the UK.

Indoor and outdoor recreations include sauna, snooker, pool, table tennis, basketball, croquet, cricket, football, and a large assault course.

Most evenings at approximately one hour after dusk, badgers arrive from various sets within the grounds to eat from the box that we fill with the surplus toast and sausages from breakfast. The box is placed outside the window of the bar and is illuminated by a spotlight which provides a superb vantage point to view our families of badgers at very close quarters.

We are open at Christmas and New Year and also have a professionally produced Murder Mystery weekend every April and October.
