Butterfly World is a colourful and enthralling experience where you can watch hundreds of exotic butterflies from around the world fly freely in the tropical indoor garden. Fountain World has well stocked ponds, there are streams, fountains and flowers to enjoy.

In Butterfly World, children will be able to see the four stages of the butterfly life cycle, and there is always the possibility of a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. Worksheets are available and school visits and coach parties are always welcome and guided tours are available for Butterfly World and also Fountain World if required. Children can then enjoy the outside play area.

New attractions include Jumping Jets - state of the art computer controlled jets - great for kids and Small World where you can travel through a childrens fairy-tale land.

The Insectarium houses an unusual and spectacular collection of insects from around the world - live tarantulas, stick insects, locusts, scorpions, preying mantis and jungle nymphs.

Fountail World's Italian Water Garden with its classical layout and colourful planting, creates an atmosphere of order and peace, and impressive computer-controlled ever-changing fountains.

The Japanese Water Garden is a delightful blend of fountains, waterfalls, ponds with rocks and ornaments set amongst rich and varied plants. Stroll over the Japanese bridge and absorb the visual delights of this oriental garden. See giant ornamental Koi carp in the water below - don’t miss them being fed at 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm.

The Gift Shop has a wide range of butterfly gifts, including butterfly books, postcards and real mounted butterflies, as well as jewellery and china.
