Opening times: 1 March - 31 October 2010, Tuesday to Sunday Dimbola Lodge Museum was home to the pioneering Victorian photographer, Julia Margaret Cameron, who photographed the cream of Victorian society from Tennyson, Darwin and Watts to Lewis Carroll and the actress Ellen Terry. The Museum has a permanent collection on display of Julia's photographs, plus the latest exhibit of Julia’s bedroom which includes original Victorian artefacts and an audio visual display telling the story of Julia, her camera, the history of photography and the restoration of Dimbola Lodge Museum. Permanent exhibition of memorabilia from the Isle of Wight Pop Festivals past and present, and a changing photographic exhibitions programme throughout the year. |
