Queen Victoria's seaside home, Osborne House, gives an intriguing glimpse into the private life of our former queen.

See the bedroom she shared with Prince Albert, the nursery her children played in, and take a look below the stairs in the 'Table Deckers Rooms'.

Enjoy the grandeur of the Royal Apartments, including the Durbar room, with its exquisite collection of gifts given to Queen Victoria by the people of India.

In the grounds, the Swiss Cottage, built for the royal children complete with miniature furniture is entrancing. The Victorian walled garden and the Terrace Garden that overlooks the Solent will delight any garden enthusiast.
