Robin Hill Theme park
Downend, Arreton, PO30 2NU (view map)
Open: Mar to Oct daily 10am to 5pm. Open until 6pm during peak season. Nestling within 90 acres of delightful countryside and classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty, Robin Hill offers stunning views from its many natural vantage points. Over the past few years, lots of attractions and facilities have been added to make the park a focus for family fun. Guests can travel back in time within The Time Machine simulation theatre. Colossus is a giant 44 seat swing boat ride, where the brave-hearted can fine themselves hanging 12 metres above the ground at 180 degrees. The children's play village, the wood panel maze, the gypsy caravans and the tree top trail will amuse younger visitors, whilst quiet woodland walks may reveal a glimpse of red squirrel or two. The exciting hurricane toboggan run snakes down the hillside for 400 metres, thrilling the boy racer in us all. Below, the Valey Cafe provides much needed refreshment, and with another cafe near the entrance to the park and a well stocked gift shop, visitors will find plenty of high quality facilities. |
