The Island's varied terrain provides some exceptional off-road cycling, from single track paths to downhill trails. West Wight is particularly good for mountain biking, with its undulating countryside and stunning scenery.

Road cycling and touring is excellent on the Island, which offers a 200-mile network of cycling routes to suit everyone, ranging from quiet country lanes that meander through areas of outstanding natural beauty and rolling countryside to coastal paths.

Well signposted routes are plentiful, including peaceful byways and level purpose-made tracks — the perfect place to relax and unwind in exhilarating clean air.

Most routes can be completed in a single day or less, all of the routes are less than 20 miles.

Each route starts from a convenient place.
