Tourist Information Centres

Once you've arrived on the Isle of Wight, there are a great many tourist information centres which provide free maps of all the major towns, along with free booklets and guides which will help you make the most out of your visit to the Island.

The friendly staff are also able to assist you with information about the Island and help you to book accommodation.

Following a local government expenditure review, a decision was made to close the Island's tourist information centres with effect from March 2011. Visitor Information Points are now provided at various locations around the Isle of Wight by the bus company Southern Vectis.
